Dead Sun - Advena - the first sketches

My old, first drawings of an advena. It was made for a sort of cover art illustration, with a simplistic design. I wasn't sure yet how to design these alien creatures, all I knew I want them to look humanoid, but with slender bodies, and much taller than humans. The pose and image suppose to illustrate that in this story, the main character is sword dueling with them. So the advenas even though are slender, they are muscular and well suited for nuanced, close-ranged combat.
