Dead Sun - 7K Zachary - face

Detailed concept arts about the main character's face. I didn't really get his face perfect as I imagined, but it will do for a rough concept. Zachary's most notable feature is the black, artificial skin on his face and neck - it is a skin replacement for a burn injury from his past. This skin mark is the reason why painting this character is so difficult if I want to stay precisely consistent with its pattern. Also, people usually think he is a cyborg and I don't blame them. He is more like, having many augmentations in his brain and vision, as this story is a sci-fi one and plays very far in to the future, and he is a soldier who needs enhancements.
